Bahrain hosted the first-ever Formula One Grand Prix in the Middle East in 2004. 

  • Strategic Location:

Bahrain is a major trading hub and a strategic location in the Persian Gulf, with a diverse economy focused on finance and trade. 

  • Ancient Origins:

Bahrain's history dates back around 4,500 years, and it's believed to be the site of the ancient kingdom of Dilmun. 

  • Unique Geography:

Bahrain is an archipelago composed of 50 natural islands and 33 artificial ones, with the largest being Bahrain Island.

The official language is Arabic, but most people also speak English, which is the business language.

Bahrain was a significant trade center in ancient times, known as Dilmun, which thrived from the fourth millennium BC to the ninth century BC.

Bahrain's name, meaning "two seas" in Arabic, refers to its combination of freshwater springs and saltwater seas.

Bahrain is home to the largest eco-friendly underwater park in the world, featuring sunken aircraft and sculptures.
