Dish:                   Cypriot Semolina Cake

Description:     This Cypriot dessert is traditionally served at room temperature.  The usual process is a cake base of some description followed by the pouring of a thick sticky sugar syrup.

My Notes:          This is a wonderful, tasty semolina cake. I used half the syrup mixture as I don’t like it too sweet.

I sprinkled icing sugar on mine. My result came out dark because I tried jaggery instead of date sugar.
