Burkina Faso - General

Burkina Faso means "Land of the Proud/Honest Men," is a landlocked nation in West Africa, and is home to the world's largest African film festival, the FESPACO film festival in Ouagadougou. The country's economy relies heavily on agriculture and gold exports, but it is known for its unique, world-renowned art. It is also one of the world's youngest countries, with a median age of around 18.6.  

The Meaning of the Name
